🔌 Getting Started

  • Plug the ELM327 OBD-II adapter into your car's diagnostic port (usually under the dashboard)
  • Turn on the car's ignition (engine on for live data)
  • WiFi adapters: Connect your phone to the adapter's WiFi network (e.g. "WiFi_OBDII")
  • BLE adapters: Go to the Connection tab and scan for Bluetooth devices
  • Tap "Connect" and wait for initialization

Frequently Asked Questions

Which OBD adapters are compatible?
OBD Scan Pro works with ELM327-based adapters connected via WiFi or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Classic Bluetooth adapters are NOT supported on iOS.
Why can't I see any data?
Make sure the engine is running (not just ignition). Some vehicles require the engine to be on for sensor data. Also verify the adapter is properly plugged into the OBD-II port.
What cars are supported?
All vehicles manufactured after 1996 (OBD-II compliant) are supported. This includes most gasoline, diesel, and hybrid vehicles sold worldwide.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → OBD Scan Pro → Cancel Subscription. The subscription remains active until the end of the billing period.
Is my vehicle data safe?
Yes. All data is stored locally on your device and synced via encrypted iCloud. We never share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The AI analysis seems wrong. What should I do?
AI analysis is for informational purposes only. Always consult a certified mechanic for vehicle repairs. You can try re-running the analysis for a different perspective.
